The creative design process can be a complex and sometimes abstract animal. We have found that a poorly planned or unfocused project can rapidly spin out of control and become difficult to manage. For this reason, as well as to simplify communication with our customers and effectively manage expectations, we have come up with The Five Phases.
Request Phase
This is the introductory period, where we will ask you to provide us with a brief synopsis of what your project details. In turn, we will learn as much as possible about your business approach and philosophies. This phase is aided by our New Client Interview form which is sent via email.
Research Phase
Armed with the details from the completed interview form - as well as any other relevant information you feel we might need - we begin the Research Phase. Here we will analyze and evaluate the information provided and clarify a direction and a structural plan.
Rough Phase
Once research and planning have been completed, the Rough Phase begins with a series of composites such as sketches, wire frames or full graphic comps. Formatting, placement and sizing changes (among others) will all be taken into consideration and smoothed out here. At the end of this phase we will have a solid design direction and client approval.
Refine Phase
This is the final design phase. Here we build a complete and functional version of the site, so it can be fully tested and approved before being publicly launched.
Release Phase
And the moment you've been waiting for, the new face of your company is released and visible to the public.
Maintenance and updates - These (optional) maintenance contracts are highly dependant on the specific project and are not always necessary. If your project is going to need continued attention after the Release Phase, then a maintenance contract will be drawn up based on your specific needs and the amount of time it may take to successfully fulfill them.
